CPCCOHS1001A: Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card) is a mandatory requirement under the law for all persons wishing to carry out construction type work. It allows persons doing the course to develop basic skills and knowledge in relation to risk management and relevant Workplace Health & Safety obligations and requirements.
Mutual recognition of interstate induction cards:
Persons who have completed the CPCCOHS1001A: Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card) Course in Queensland can use the "White Card" in the following states: Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Western Australia. Further information on mutual recognition arrangements can be found at www.deir.qld.gov.au. (It is a Government Requirement that persons complete the state specific course were they are ordinarily resident. Non QLD residence can complete the course as long as they are completing construction work in QLD and undertake the course in QLD.).
Changes to General Safety Induction Cards:
As of 1st July 2009 the 30215 QLD Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry - Blue Card) has been replaced by the Course: CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in construction industry (White Card). Persons holding "Blue Cards" will not be required to replace their "Blue Cards" as they will continue to be valid and recognised.

On the working day we receive your Answer Sheet, Statutory Declaration & Certified copy of ID we will assess the answers provided. Once competency has been assessed and reached you will be provided with
| Do you need the White Card in a hurry? |
No problem & no extra cost! You can also email or fax your answers, Statutory Declaration & certified copy of ID to us and we will email a Statement of Attainment with your White Card number to you that same working day. This letter will allow you to work until your White Card arrives in the mail.
