General Safety Induction Online Course

The 30215 QLD Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry - Blue Card) is a mandatory requirement under Queensland's Workplace Health & Safety Regulation 1997 for persons wishing to carry out construction type work. It allows persons doing the course to develop basic skills and knowledge in relation to risk management and relevant Workplace Health & Safety obligations and requirements. This Course and the Blue Card is recognised in Victoria and NSW (Persons should complete the state specific course were they are ordinarily resident).

How does the Online Course work?

Once we receive your enrolment form and payment we will email you your unique Username and Password with which you will have unlimited access to the course material:

(4) PDF documents and one (1) Word Document. The size in kilobyte (KB) is shown in brackets next to the document name.

1) Instruction sheet (97KB)
2) WHS study guide (2990KB)
3) WHS Questions (164KB) and the
4) WHS statutory declaration (4kb)

You can safe these to your computer and start immediately without having to spend time on the internet.

Requirements:

--> You will need access to a printer or printing facility to allow you to print the Statutory Declaration.

--> You will need a PDF reader to view and/or print each document.
If you don't have Adobe Reader installed, download the installer from the Adobe Reader web page (http://www.adobe.com/) and Click on Get Acrobat Reader (if you're on a dial-up modem connection they provide a basic version of the Reader software for faster download). Then follow the on-screen instructions.


Once the free reader is installed you will be able to view/print all of the documents.

As of 1st January 2008 the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations & Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has added special conditions to the 30215QLD - Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry): To provide a certified copy of Identification (for example drivers licence, student card etc) is a security requirement that should help prevent false signatures to be added to the Blue Card. Every Training Provider needs to comply with this requirement.

Do you need the Blue Card in a hurry?

No problem & no extra cost! You can also email or fax your answers, Statutory Declaration & certified copy of ID to us and we will email a letter of competency with your Blue Card number to you that same working day. This letter will allow you to work until your Blue Card arrives.

*During normal office hours (Mon - Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Contact us if you require your Blue Card to be issued after hours)
